The new Chumby One model ditches the old beanbag casing for a retro-clock-radio-inspired look and slashes the price, though the internals are unchanged. It remains a pretty frivolous gadget, yet I can't help really liking it.
Chumby Requirements
To use a Chumby you will need a wireless access point and Internet access, of course the Chumby also requires electricity although the newer Chumby one is able to run on batteries for short periods of time.
Any regular WIFI access point will be suitable for Chumby and the prices are so cheap these days it really does not hurt to have your home running wireless
